Kid Cudi, Asher Roth...All the New Rappers...

Yo...as a listener of hip-hop for three generations of artists I've gotta say...i'm reaaal proud of the direction things are going. Artists like Kid Cudi and Asher Roth and Drake are some of the realest hip-hop artists of all time yo. They're setting a brand new standard of real and surpassing Kanye's original bars. What I mean by real is being who you are on a track, before Kanye every hip hop artist had to be from the hood or had to sell coke or something to get any love, now you gotta white boy like Asher Roth who sounds like Eminem (more cuz hes white than anything else) and is proud to talk about being from the burbs and his times in college and shit, and isn't trying to be someone he's not. When Hip-hop hit suburbia I think people had a hard time of adjusting to it cuz they really had nothing to relate to. But these new artists are showing u can live a life without guns and still fuck with rap. I just wanted to show my appreciation to all of em cuz its real refreshing to me. Kid Cudis weeellll ahead of all the other new guys tho... hahaha Well Keep fuckin with blog many more posts to comee!
