Artist, Football Player, Legend, Ernie Barnes Died Today at 70

Ernie Barnes was born in Durham, North Carolina, and attended North Carolina Central University, where he played college football Barnes played offensive guard in the AFL playing for 3 teams. His artwork is characterized by elongated figures, usually in motion. owing to his athletic background, many of his paintings have a sports theme. He was named Official Artist of the 1984 Summer Olympics. he is the recipient of the 1984 and 2004 Sport artist of the Year Award presented annually by the American Sport Art Museum and Archives. In 2004, rapper and record producer Kanye West commissioned Barnes to paint an interpretation of West's recovery from a 2002 near fatal car crash. The painting, named "A Life Restored", measures 9 ft x 10 ft and hangs from West's dining room ceiling.

Giants choose Hakeem Nicks 1st overall. I like the choice a whole lot especially comparing him to everyone else that was on the board. I think he was a steal for the Giants to get so late in the round. While I have faith in Jerry Reese and think Hakeem Nicks is a future pro bowler, I still think the Giants need to try and get a more experienced #1 Wideout. Since we got two wideouts in this draft I think we should try to trade some of our others and whoever we can to get a stronger #1. BUT as I said I have faith in Jerry Reese so, if he thinks we can get it done, then we can. I mean check out this catch!

Land Rover has added some minor upgrades to the new 2010 Range Rover. One of the most noticeable upgrades is the headlamps but there are a lot more than that. Range Rover has added 1,420 new parts into the 2010 Rover. The interior has also been enhanced. The cabin has been refined to a much more delicate and soothing atmosphere. The interior gets nicer woods (six varieties to choose from), softer leathers, and a 12 inch LCD screen in the center console. Land Rover has claimed the 2010 Range Rover to be the quietest and most pleasurable Range Rover experience ever....I like that.
